Packing Snacks, improving lives
Scott Equipment employees had the opportunity to partner with Matter during the 11th anniversary of MATTERBOX Madness! The event was held at the Mall of America Rotunda, with the mission of packing healthy snack packs for children in need in the Twin Cities Metro area.
THE COMPETITION!
Together with 16 other companies and over 100 participants, 10,000 snack bags were packed!! Not only were they packed, but they were packed FAST! Matter made the event into a 16-team single-elimination tournament.
MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Scott Equipment faced stiff competition, but they were determined to make a positive impact on the lives of children in their community.
The team was ready to prove that we are excellent at not only de-packaging (see: www.turborecycling.com) things but also packaging them!
THE FINAL FOUR
Scott Equipment put the pressure on as we hit our stride and sailed into the final four! It was such an exciting moment!
This year we took home the trophy! Captain for the team, Jacob Walter, said it best, ” It was great competing as a Scott Equipment team with the common goal of Improving People’s Lives.”
The motto we stand behind all day, every day!
We can’t wait to defend our title in 2026!
The recipient of the meals from this event is the Sannah Foundation. Tony Sannah, Founder and CEO of the Sannah Foundation, expressed his appreciation, “There are a lot of kids suffering from food insecurity in our communities, and it’s hard to get kids grounded when they’re hungry. Being able to give them a healthy snack is so important to help us make connections with the kids. MATTER has been a great partner to provide us with these snacks. They really make a difference. “
