Scott Equipment’s Tender Blend Cooler/Heater combines gentle continuous mixing with controlled heating or cooling. The dimple-jacketed vessel uses thermal media to transfer heat through the mixer wall while dual paddle shafts continuously move material through the system.
Designed for powders, granules, feed ingredients, chemicals, minerals, polymers, and other bulk solids, the Tender Blend helps maintain consistent product temperature and quality while simplifying your processing line.

HOW THE TENDER BLEND COOLER/HEATER WORKS
Material Enters
Bulk material continuously enters the horizontal chamber at a controlled feed rate.
Dual Paddle Shafts Mix & Convey
The dual paddle shafts gently mix and move material through the machine, helping maintain product consistency and integrity.
Product is heated or cooled
Steam, hot oil, glycol, chilled water, or another thermal fluid circultes throug the dimple jacket. Heat transfers through the vessel wall to indirectly heat or cool the product.
Conditioned Material Discharges
Material continuously exits the machine at the end of the process, ready for downstream processing, storage, or packaging.

What is a continuous cooler/heater?
A continuous cooler/heater moves bulk material through a processing vessel while controlling product temperature. The material can be mixed and conveyed while it is indirectly heated or cooled.
How does the Tender Blend Cooler/Heater work?
Dual paddle shafts continuously mix and convey material through a horizontal jacketed trough. Thermal media circulates through the jacket to indirectly heat or cool the material.
