Scott Equipment’s Cake Feeder is an industrial feeding system designed to keep sticky, wet, and non-free-flowing materials moving consistently.
A vertical agitator prevents material from bridging inside the cylindrical barrel while directing product toward a horizontal discharge screw. The system can be configured with a screw conveyor or positive displacement pump based on the material and downstream process.

What is a Cake Feeder?
A cake feeder is industrial material handling equipment designed to provide a controlled, consistent feed of wet, sticky, or non-free-flowing materials.
The Scott Cake Feeder uses a vertical agitator and horizontal discharge screw to keep difficult materials moving. The agitator helps prevent bridging inside the vessel while continuously directing material toward the discharge.
This makes the Cake Feeder well suited for materials such as filter cake, wet pet food, meat slurry, shortening, chemical sludge, biomass residue, and other difficult-to-feed products.
