Scott Equipment Volunteers for the 15th Year!

November 8-11^th, 2023, Scott Equipment sponsored the FMSC (Feed My Starving Children) MobilePack at the Jordan Community Ed Rec Center. The MobilePack was hosted in Jordan, MN, for the first time. There were over 2,200 volunteers who showed up to pack for 13 different sessions during the four-day event. The initial goal was 544,000 meals, and with each volunteer’s help, we not only hit but exceeded the goal for a total of 559,872 meals. That results in 1,533 kids getting a meal daily for an entire year.

We want to thank By the Yard, in Jordan, MN, for their generous monetary donation to the MobilePack event and the fantastic crew of volunteers who came to help us set up and prepare for the four-day packing extravaganza. This year’s setup was the fastest and smoothest we have ever had, and that is in large part due to the great team from By the Yard. Thank you!

FORKLIFTS OF MINNESOTA

We would also like to thank Forklifts of Minnesota for donating two of their enclosed forklifts for the event. The loading & unloading process throughout the event was much more efficient. The forklift drivers were very grateful for those enclosed cabs!

WE IMPROVE LIVES

At Scott Equipment, our motto is “We Improve Lives.” Our partnership with Feed My Starving Children over the last 16 years has allowed us to live that out in a tangible way. We have had the privilege to sponsor 15 MobilePacks and packed 8,997,480 meals at these events.

A highlight at each year’s pack is the shift when Scott Equipment gets to pack meals as a team! This year, our all-team session packed 87,048 meals! Thank you, Scott Team!
